Combe Martin Kayak Club was established in the winter of 2016 by a small number of local kayaking & paddling enthusiasts. Combe Martin bay is one of the best & safest areas to paddle along with being increasingly popular with visitors & locals alike. With the nearest affiliated adult club being in Bideford it was agreed that a local club would be beneficial to anyone interested in paddle sports. Membership opened on January 1st 2017.

The club is affiliated to British Canoeing (UK's governing authority for paddle sports including kayaking, canoeing & stand up paddleboarding) and enjoys all the benefits that offers including insurance and access to many waterways across the country.

The main aims of the club are to promote safe & enjoyable paddling within the bay & outlying areas. To develop the skills & knowledge of its members. To develop a youth policy & encourage junior members. To acquire a small number of boats for the use of its members.

Combe Martin Bowling Club have very kindly allowed us use of their facilities for our clubhouse.

Combe Martin Museum have kindly allowed us the use of the Sail Loft for our meetings & classroom training events.

Events dates & times will be published on the "What's on"  page.
